This is not a standard portrait session.
It is a curated experience created to help you see yourself differently.
From our first conversation to the final reveal, every detail is intentional.
You will be guided gently and confidently throughout the entire process, allowing you to confidently step into the next version of yourself.
The result is imagery that feels powerful, intimate, and unmistakably you.

Your experience begins with a private pre-session consultation where we thoughtfully design your shoot together.
We’ll talk through your vision, how you want to feel, and the story you’d like your portraits to reflect. You’ll receive personalized guidance on wardrobe, beauty, and styling so you feel prepared, confident, and supported long before your session day.
Every detail is considered in advance — allowing you to arrive relaxed, present, and ready to be seen.

A guided editorial-style session focused on presence, expression, and identity.
Throughout the shoot, you’ll receive clear direction to help you move naturally and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Rather than forced poses, we focus on capturing moments that reflect who you are right now — powerful, evolving, and real.

About your photographer 
I’m Tanja — an international portrait photographer on a mission to empower women through photography.
My work is rooted in the She Is philosophy: helping women see themselves with strength, confidence, and self-trust — often for the first time in a long time.
If you’ve gone through an identity shift — motherhood, a career change, a health journey, or simply that quiet feeling of I don’t feel like myself anymore — you’re not alone. I’ve been there myself. Rebuilding my own sense of identity taught me how important it is for women to feel reflected, not defined by roles.
That’s why my sessions are fully guided and supportive. You don’t need to know how to pose or how to look “perfect.” I’ll guide you step by step, creating images that feel natural, confident — and photos you finally love of yourself.
Alongside my photography work, I’m also a women’s empowerment and embodied transformation coach. For women who want to go deeper, optional 1:1 Becoming coaching is available as an add-on to support clarity, identity, and what comes next.
My intention is simple:
to help you see yourself — with confidence, presence, and renewed self-trust.

All sessions take place in my light filled studio in Chicago in the Pilsen neighborhood.

We connect before your shoot to design your experience — discussing intention, styling, and how you want to feel.2. The Becoming Session
Professional hair and makeup followed by a guided magazine-style portrait session tailored to you.3. Image Reveal
After your session, you’ll view your portraits and select your gifted image, with the option to purchase additional portraits or collections. Single portraits are $250 and collections start at $1500. -
At the moment, four sessions are available for February
Additional sessions may open depending on availability during my Chicago visit.
Once sessions are filled, booking will close.

The Becoming event is a gallery-style evening where selected portraits are displayed in an intimate, curated setting.
It’s a celebration of women, stories, and presence — a space to witness yourself and others in a powerful, meaningful way.
Attendance is included with your experience.
